OWNERSHIP VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Home Ownership Program is now seeking to
expand its client base through a dedicated
advertising campaign. SER hopes this effort will attract and invite individuals and/or families
to the SER Home Ownership Program.
To meet this influx of clients
SER HOP is looking for qualified individuals to
serve as home ownership counselors to perform
the following:
-
intake of individuals and
families interested in home purchase;
-
gathering of financial and
credit information;
-
assessing various government
and banking programs;
-
matching appropriate programs
to individual client needs.
Preferred qualifications/capabilities:
We have a need for full time
counselor(s) and some volunteers. The persons we
are looking for will have the following
background or qualities (preferred but not
required):
-
customer service experience;
-
ability to work well in
underserved communities;
-
familiarity with housing
and mortgage issues;
-
bi-lingual (English-Spanish)
a major plus.
